Krasnodar – PAOK: victory for the bulls?
Krasnodar scored seven goals in the last match, but will the bulls be able to play as confidently against PAOK on September 22 – we have prepared our forecast. How will the match turn out?
Krasnodar did not start the championship in the best way – Murad Musaev’s team is probably betting on a ticket to the Champions League at the end of the tournament, but so far it is only on the fifth line in the table. In seven rounds, the “bulls” scored 14 points and are thus three points behind the first “Zenith”, the same amount is lost to the second “Spartak”.
Having issued a series of three matches without victories, Krasnodar received three points due to a technical defeat for Rotor, and the team also had the opportunity to rest. The rest was beneficial and in the last round the bulls crushed Khimki. The outsider was able to resist only in the first half, but then crumbled, and Krasnodar eventually won with a score of 7: 2, interrupting a series of three matches without victories.
Last season, PAOK could not resist Olympiacos – the main competitor quickly pulled ahead and it was already unrealistic to catch up with him. As a result, the “black-and-white” came second to the finish line, losing 18 points to the champion, but they got a ticket to the Champions League qualification.
In this qualification, PAOK started at the end of August – Besiktas became its first rival. Despite the fact that the Greeks were not considered the favorite, they managed to beat the rival with a score of 3: 1, after which Benfica were waiting for them. Once again, being the obvious underdog of the pair, PAOK secured a pass to the next round, beating the Portuguese 2: 1 at home.
In the Greek championship, Abel Ferreira’s team played only two rounds, in which they beat Larissa 1: 0 and scored a 1: 1 draw with Atromitos, occupying the third line in the table. However, while the priority for PAOK is undoubtedly the Champions League, having dealt with Besiktas and Benfica, the Greeks probably expect to be in the group.
The teams crossed twice in 2015 – Krasnodar did not lose in any of these matches – a victory and a draw
Krasnodar has not lost in any of the last five home games – three wins and two draws
Only one of the last three away matches has PAOK managed to win
Krasnodar looked great in the last match, the bulls played very effectively in attack, showed a killer implementation. In general, Krasnodar looks quite confident at home, even in not the best times the team consistently scores points at home.
In the home match, the bulls will certainly strive to win, with a different result it will be difficult to count on a pass, given how PAOK played at home against Besiktas and Benfica. The hosts are clearly on the rise, Krasnodar is not inferior to the rival in anything, it makes sense to count on his success.
We believe that guests have no chance. The forecast is a victory for Krasnodar . In BC Winline, this outcome is offered with odds of 1.98
