Cardboard or ceramics: French artist Jacques Monnero creates incredible tableware

Jacques Monnero/instagram

French artist Jacques Monnero creates dishes imitating corrugated cardboard. Incredible photos of his work have already circulated the Internet.

French artist Jacques Monnero publishes his works on the Instagram social network. They receive a lot of comments and likes.

At first glance, his creations look like cardboard models carelessly glued with tape. But in reality, the artist creates his vessels from clay using the potter's wheel, and then painstakingly works the small details by hand, achieving a literal resemblance to the packaging.

As someone who grew up in a family of artists and craftsmen, I always imagined that one day I would work with my hands. Instead, I spent hours in meetings discussing brand strategies. When I realized this, I decided that it was time to try this dream, the artist told Colossal.

The artist started working with ceramics only three years ago.
