The publication, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, writes that the commanders of Azov, who laid down weapons in Mariupol, are in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center. were taken from the occupied Donbass to the territory of Russia, although it was the representatives of the so-called “Donetsk people's republic” threatened to hold an “international tribunal”.

Before that, the State Duma of the Russian Federation proposed to prohibit the exchange of captured Azov fighters.

BAGNET recalls that the fighters "Azov" for more than two months they held the defense of Mariupol and positions at the Azovstal plant. They laid down their arms and surrendered to Russian captivity after a command from Kyiv to save their personnel.
