Canadian volunteer killed at the front
“A 28-year-old Canadian who was a medic- volunteered during the Russian invasion of Ukraine – died,” CBC News reported.
It is noted that Grigory Tsekhmistrenko was from Ukraine, but had Canadian citizenship. He lived in the city of Port Alice in the province of British Columbia.
According to his brother-in-arms, Tsekhmistrenko died on the night of January 14 near Bakhmut.
He came to Ukraine from Canada in January last year , when information about the preparation of the Russian Federation for a full-scale invasion became more and more threatening.
According to CBC News, Tsekhmistrenko – This is the third Canadian to die in the war in Ukraine. He will be buried in Kyiv.
