The developers decided to let all PlayStation 4 owners try out the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War before release. For this, an alpha version has appeared in the service from Sony. At the same time, it is noted that everyone will be able to play the shooter for three days, and not only PS Plus subscribers. However, it is noted that the game is very limited and only allows you to familiarize yourself with the content and setting. At the same time, access is open only to the multiplayer part of the novelty. The creators will declassify several maps and modes. This will allow players to try out the character class creation technique and learn how the scoring system is implemented for receiving rewards. Despite the very limited set, according to the developers, it will be able to give gamers important information and set them up to buy a shooter. The alpha version, despite its trial status, will take up 25 GB of free space on the console disk.
The beta version of the product will be released on October 8th. Even more content will be revealed in it, but so far the developers have not provided details. You can play it until October 19, and the official release will take place a month after testing. The novelty will be released not only on personal computers and current generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft, but also on the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
