Elon Musk’s daughter Vivian Wilson speaks out after allegations her father made a “Nazi salute” at a rally dedicated to the inauguration of Donald Trump, writes The Independent.
Vivian Wilson, who officially changed her name after turning 18 to distance herself from her father, did not mention Musk directly, but alluded to the incident during a rally at Capitol One Arena.
“Let's call a spade a spade. Especially if two spades were made in a row, based on the reaction to the first spade”, – Vivian wrote cryptically, hinting that her father's gesture was no accident.
Wilson also responded with a post on Threads, commenting on social media speculation that Musk's gesture could be explained by his autism:
“I don't know why you're all reacting so violently, I'm clearly only talking about card suits… After all, there is no evidence that I am not just talking about card suits…”.
His daughter, who is transgender, also spoke out about Trump's executive order to repeal transgender protections.
“I want every trans person to read this document”, – she noted, sharing a link to the executive order. “It is important to understand what we are fighting against and the shamelessness of their hatred”.
Vivian is one of six children Musk had with writer Justine Musk. During Trump's presidential election, she hinted that she might leave the United States.
