The future of Gianluca Lapadula is unknown, different clubs have asked about the situation of the striker to Benevento, however, hiring them is complicated by the high percentage they have to pay to acquire him, considering that the 'Bambino' is 32 years old.< /b>
But, one of the clubs that would be willing to pay what Benevento requests (2 million Euros) is Cagliari, according to Italian media. The salary is negotiated with Lapadula, who in the last season was the highest in the category (1.8 million) and expires in 2023.
Lapadula together to Icardi?
Another team that would be interested in Lapadula is Associazione Calcio Monza, a club recently promoted to the first division of Italian football. Silvio Berlusconi, current president of the club, is interested in signing Gianluca, according to Italian media.
Remember that Berlusconi and Lapadula already know each other, that he was one of those responsible for Milan signing him in 2017. Lapadula had just had a spectacular season with Pescara where he scored 30 goals in 46 games.
Pier Silvio Berlusconi, owner of the institution and son of renowned businessman Silvio Berlusconi, referred to Mauro Icardi as a great opportunity for him to join the Italian club. “It would be a great opportunity to have him (Icardi) at Monza. Imagine what a story if he marked Inter. Maybe… But don't let me go any further: I have faith in Galliani”, he declared a few days ago.
“I say that it is beyond our reach, not that it is impossible”, added Pier.
