Fires the positions of the Russian Armed Forces: Bild revealed the details of the operation of the Ukrainian drone

FPV-drones now drop on the invaders a thermite mixture with a burning temperature of 2500°С, which burns iron and detonates the enemy's ammunition.

Ukraine's defense forces began using unmanned aircraft ” Dragon”, which burn the territory under them with the help of a thermite mixture. The details of the drone's operation were revealed in Bild.

According to the publication, the Ukrainian military thought about how to use thermite together with UAVs at the end of last year. As a result, they decided to place 500 g of thermite under a standard FPV drone — mixtures of burning granules of iron oxide and aluminum. The operator of such a drone must remotely start a chemical reaction shortly before it appears in the vicinity of the target so that the device can burn it. about 2500°C. This is enough to eat iron in a matter of seconds. In this way, mortars, grenades and cartridges become deadly for their owners who are hit by such a UAV.

The operation of one of these drones was recently demonstrated by servicemen of the 108th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of Ukraine. The released video shows how an FPV drone scatters termites over the positions of the Russian military, as a result of which a strip of forest about 100 m long ignites. At the same time, explosions can be seen on the ground, which indicates that the fire is spreading to the ammunition of the Russian Armed Forces.
