Burger King regulars know that the fast-food chain regularly develops all kinds of collaborations. Earlier this year, the restaurant chain drove One Piece fans crazy with specially designed burgers inspired by the manga. Today, the burger king announces a new collaboration, this time with My Hero Academia.
Burger King multiplies collaborations
Burger King excels in its communication. When it is not to tease its competitor McDonald's, it is by offering its regulars crazy collaborations. We remember for example that the fast food chain had launched special burgers “pregnant women's cravings” which were disgustingor burgers sold only in certain geographical areas and for a limited period, as was the case for the Akunir Burger or the Zen Burger, marketed last year.
Earlier this year, Burger King had made One Piece fans crazy with joyby launching for the first time a collaboration with the manga by Eiichiro Oda. For the occasion, the company had added two new burgers to its menu, one with chicken and the other with grilled beef, as well as exclusive T-shirts offered with the purchase of a menu.

Today, a few days after the start of the school year, a new collaboration has just been announced. The fast-food chain has teamed up with the rights holders of My Hero Academia to offer 3 new menus with chicken burgers, beef burgers and another with a vegetarian recipe. If for the moment we do not yet know the exact recipes of these burgers honoring the work of Kōhei Horikoshi, we know that two of them will be featuring the two main characters of the manga, namely Izuku Midoriya aka Deku and Karsuki Bakugo with the Deku Burger and the Bakugo Burger. As with the collaboration with One Piece, 3 T-shirts will be offered in gray, white and black colors. However, this time, there will be no collectible cards.
Note that this Burger King x My Hero Academia collaboration will only be available in France for the moment. It is impossible to know if the brand will deploy it internationally.
If you are wondering why this collaboration was born, it is simply because My Hero Academia is one of the best-selling manga in history with at least 10 million copies sold in France alone. France is one of the biggest manga markets outside of Japan.
To enjoy this collaboration between Burger King and My Hero Academia, head to the chain's restaurants tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17.
