Borussia Monchengladbach defeated Freiburg 2-1 for date 27 of the Bundesliga
A double in seven minutes of Marcus Thuram led to the comeback against him Friborg of the Borussia Monchengladbach (2-1), who added his second win in a row to consolidate the improvement he showed on the last date.
Marco Rose’s team went on to accumulate six games without a win and five losses in a row that he left behind with the victory against bottom side Schalke in the last session.
The local team was put against the scoreboard when the Hungarian Roland Sallai he brought in a pass from Bosnian Ermedin Demirovic in the 10th minute.
It was in the second half when Borussia was able to turn the situation around. Thuram beat Florian Muller after receiving a ball from Lars Stindl and seven minutes later, at game time, he scored again after a cross from Christoph Kramer.
Freiburg scored, through Keven Schlotterbeck, in added time, but VAR invalidated the goal for offside.
The victory brings Marco Rose’s team closer to the European zone. He is seventh four points behind Bayer Leverkusen, which marks the places of continental competitions. Christian Streich’s Freiburg falls to ninth place. EFE
