On Friday, September 20, Bulgarian authorities denied involvement in the supply chain of thousands of pagers that were recently detonated in Lebanon.

An investigation was launched in Bulgaria after local media reported that Norta Global Ltd. could be involved in the sale of pagers.

The agency also said that Taiwanese company Gold Apollo said this week that it does not manufacture the devices used in the attack.
Pagers and other devices were remotely detonated in Lebanon on September 17 and 18. communications used by the Lebanese militia group “Hezbollah”. As a result, at least 37 people died and almost three thousand were injured.
