Budget smartphone iPhone SE 4 shown live for the first time

The iPhone SE 4 or iPhone 16E will undoubtedly be one of the biggest announcements this spring and Apple's most affordable smartphone in 2025. We've already seen renders and concepts of this model. Now, thanks to photos from Sonny Dixon at X, we can see the device's design in person.

According to the insider, the smartphone has a glass back with rounded corners and a metal frame, making it a modern incarnation of the iPhone 4, released in 2010.

The design is dominated by minimalism: a flat back panel, a single camera, volume keys, a notification slider and a SIM card slot. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be equipped with a 6.06-inch OLED screen, an A18 processor and a 48MP Sony Exmor IMX904 camera. The price will probably remain below $500.
