Buckingham Palace has announced the plan for the coronation of Charles III, according to BBC news agency.
The celebrations are expected to take place from 6 to May 8, and at the insistence of Charles III, the holiday will be emphasized modest — the reason is the difficult economic situation in Britain.
The celebration will include performances of orchestras on the lawn of Windsor Castle, two solemn processions, the appearance of members of the royal family on the balcony of the royal residence in London, as well as laser show.
In addition, at the request of the king, the traditional three-hour coronation ritual in Westminster Abbey will be reduced, as well as the number of guests — this time, two thousand people will personally attend the ceremony instead of eight thousand — this was the number of guests at the coronation of Elizabeth II in in 1953.
As reported by BAGNET, earlier it became known that the King of Britain, Charles III, intends to wear at his coronation in May, a military uniform.
