British Typhoon fighters arrived in Romania

Great Britain sent six Typhoon fighter jets to Romania to protect NATO's eastern flank near the Black Sea. This is stated on the website of the British Air Force.

Personnel participating in the mission, in any moment will be ready to launch a quick response system (QRA) to intercept Russian aircraft approaching NATO airspace

the message says.

Until August, the fighter jets will fly from Mykhailo Kogelnichanu Air Base under the city of Constanta. It is noted that British aircraft of the 9th Bombardment Squadron and more than 200 servicemen of the 140th Expeditionary Wing are also participating in the four-month NATO mission.
