Great Britain is ready to send its soldiers to war with Russia if Russia invades one of the NATO countries on the eastern flank.

This was stated by the Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff of Great Britain, Lieutenant General Rob Magowan, writes Politico.

In particular, during a speech at the Defence Committee of the House of Commons of Great Britain, he answered the question of how many British brigades could be sent to the eastern flank of NATO in the event of a serious escalation from Russia, noting that if Britain was asked to fight tonight, it would have done so.

He specified that the British Armed Forces have "a number of operational challenges and operational advantages".
