Boxer Oleksandr Usyk said that he wants to become the Minister of Sports of Ukraine

The Ukrainian boxer admitted that he would like to work with children, and not only in sports. The athlete shared that he would be happy to teach them the things he knows how to do.

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk told the Polish channel Kanał Sportowy in an interview that he would like to become the Minister of Sports of Ukraine.

I would like to work with children, work with children not only in sports, but also in education. Psychology, a healthy lifestyle, thinking with your head, and not listening to what someone says. I want to work with my boys, with my kids, to teach them some of the things that I can. I would be happy to become the Minister of Sports – and I will be one – noted Usyk.

Aleksandr Usyk– Ukrainian professional boxer. He became the absolute heavyweight champion of the world in May, when he defeated the British Tyson Fury in a fight for the unification of the titles. This happened for the first time in 25 years – the last such title was held by someone in 1999, when Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield.

Aleksandr Usyk became the highest-paid athlete in Ukraine – his fortune increased by 54 million dollars.

The Ukrainian champion will hold his next fight on December 21 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. This will be a rematch against the British Tyson Fury, whom Usyk defeated in May by split decision. Then the Ukrainian became the absolute world champion.
