Bloggers have already managed to unbox the iPhone 16 Pro: what is the difference with its predecessor

New iPhone 16 Pro unboxed by blogger/Apple

The iPhone 16 family will go on sale in some countries on Friday, September 20. But that doesn't mean you have to wait until the end of the week to get an unofficial look at the company's phones.

And all because someone has already received the iPhone 16 Pro and posted a video of the unboxing on the Chinese social network Weibo. These two videos, shared on X by Majin Boo, give us a closer look at the new Pro model from Apple, writes PhoneArena.

In the first clip, we see someone taking out a the Black Titanium variant of the box, which also includes a USB-C cable. We also see the new camera control button in action, which is located at the bottom right.

The button provides easy access to the camera and lets you adjust features like zoom by swiping over it.

In the second video we see , as the iPhone 16 Pro in Desert Titanium is compared to the iPhone 15 Pro in Blue Titanium. Since the new phone has a 6.3-inch screen, it's no surprise that it looks slightly larger than the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro.

The iPhone 16 Pro is slightly thicker than the iPhone 15 Pro, but you'll hardly feel the difference.

The iPhone 16 Pro features a higher-resolution 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and Apple's latest Ceramic Shield material, but of course you can't tell these details just by looking at the phone.

Visually, the two phones are almost identical are different, and thereal differences are within. The new Pro models are equipped with a faster A18 Pro chip and last longer on a single battery charge. They also come with better hardware to improve connectivity.

While it's too early to comment on the phone's benchmarks, preliminary data suggests that buyers are more interested in models that fall into the Pro category. Traditionally, Pro models perform better than standard models, which is reflected in Apple's production plans.

Since Apple is touting Apple Intelligence as one of the main reasons for upgrading its phones, it seems that buyers took this message too literally and decided to ignore the new ultra-wide camera and larger screens of the Pro line in favor of phones that could work with artificial intelligence functions and cost less than the Pro models.
