Birth, marriage, and name change records are again available in "Actions"

In the “Diya” application, civil status records of birth, marriage, divorce and name change are again available.

This was announced on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukrinform reports.

“Hide paper documents on the shelf, civil status records of birth, divorce, marriage and name change are again available in “Diya”, – Fedorov noted.

He suggested that users log in to the application and check for the availability of restored data.

As reported, Russia on December 19, 2024, made the largest in recent times cyberattack on Ukrainian state registers, attempting to disrupt critical infrastructure. As a result, the work of the unified and state registers administered by the Ministry of Justice was suspended.

The SBU has opened criminal proceedings regarding the cyberattack.

Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration – Minister of Justice Olga Stefanishyna stated that, despite the large-scale cyberattack, all data in the state registers has been saved.

As of January 10, the Ministry of Justice has restored the work of all main services of the electronic portal of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations.
