The billionaire and CEO of the New Yorker clothing store, Friedrich Knapp, died at age 73. Messages about his death were sent 23 thousand. The New Yorker has confirmed that Friedrich Knapp will not be covering the rest of the month. Participating in the praised decision, the remainder was struggling with illness.

Friedrich Knapp wrote the New Yorker in 1971 together with Tilmar Hansen and Michael Simson. The first store opened in the German town of Flensburg. Today, there are 1,300 retail outlets in 49 countries.
Forbes has estimated Friedrich Knapp’s assets at $4.6 billion. The billionaire has lost three daughters.
