Bill Gates, 69, talks about the “biggest mistake” of his life

American businessman and founder of Microsoft Bill Gates, in an interview published by the British publication The Sunday Times on January 25, told how he survived the period of divorce from his wife.

Gates noted that after the divorce from his wife, American entrepreneur Melinda French Gates, he suffered for several years, as it was difficult for him to let go of the memories, achievements and the life they built together.

The 69-year-old businessman said that he wanted to follow the example of his parents, who lived in marriage 45 years old, but he regrets that he did not manage to build a long married life with Melinda French Gates.

He admitted that the mistake he “regrets the most” is the breakup of the marriage.

The Microsoft founder added that despite the problems he experienced during the divorce, he tried to remain optimistic.

Gates commented that life with his ex-wife was wonderful.
