After the World Cup fiasco in Qatar, Belgium is looking to rebuild itself. While Roberto Martinez announced that he was leaving his post after the elimination of the Red Devils from the group stage of this World Cup, the Belgian Football Federation, for its part, is looking for a new coach for the first team. And according to the latest indiscretions from our Flemish colleagues from the Nieuwsblad, the body could be helped by three executives from the selection in this quest.

Indeed, Kevin De Bruyne, Thibaut Courtois and Romelu Lukaku should be consulted regarding the choice of the future replacement for Roberto Martinez. The three star players of the Red Devils would like a renowned coach to take charge of the Belgian selection as they were able to know in their respective clubs. They would obviously not be active in this research, but would be consulted during the process and they could even give their opinion on the choice of the Belgian Federation. If this turns out to be unfavorable, it could also be fatal to the future candidate.
