Belarus plans to build two new border outposts, thereby continuing to strengthen the border with Ukraine.

This was reported by the monitoring group “Belaruski Gayun”.

— It is planned that all facilities for both border outposts will be built by the end of 2026. The expansion of the network of border outposts on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border continues, — the report says.

As Gayun wrote earlier, the State Border Committee of Belarus planned to build a border outpost in the Loyev district of the Gomel region. It is located less than a kilometer from the border with Ukraine. This information was later confirmed.

— The Karpovka border outpost provides protection for a section of the border with Ukraine that runs along the Sozh River. Some of the outpost's facilities are located on land, some are on water (on the fire watch). Therefore, now we are not talking about forming a new unit, but about building a complex of “stationary” infrastructure, — notes "Gayun".

In addition, the State Border Committee plans to build a border outpost in the Selishche tract (Stolin district, Brest region). Eight years ago, there was already a border post here, but it was most likely temporary.
