Belarus tests readiness of air force and air defense forces

The Belarusian army began the next stage of checking the units and military units of the Armed Forces on September 30. In particular, they are checking the readiness of the air force and air defense forces.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus and the monitoring group “Belarusian Gayun”.

According to Gayun, two anti-aircraft missile and two radio-technical brigades, five anti-aircraft missile regiments and three air bases may take part in the inspection.

It is also planned to call up reservists to participate in the inspection.

The ministry emphasized that the inspection is focused on the readiness and ability to perform tasks by military units and subdivisions of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces.

In August, in the Brest region of Belarus, which borders Ukraine, military exercises “Stolin-2024” were held to prevent the activities of illegal armed groups. The training was conducted “taking into account the situation” in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

Belarus did not send its own troops to Ukraine, but provided its territory for Russian troops who are shelling Ukraine; accepted Russian military personnel for treatment; and conducted joint military exercises with Russia.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine noted that the Ministry of Defense of Belarus acts in the interests of the military-political leadership of Russia and contributed to the organization of preparations for and direct armed aggression against Ukraine.

Lukashenko himself actively supports the policy of the leader of the Russian-Russians, Putin. In particular, Belarus is accused of involvement in the deportation of Ukrainian children from eastern Ukraine. Lukashenko called this “improvement” children and said he would continue to do so. At the same time, Lukashenko is spreading Russian propaganda narratives, “demonizing” Western countries.
