Baked stuffed peppers without rice: write down the recipe from Olga Ryabenko

Ukrainian chef Olga Ryabenko decided to share an interesting and unusual recipe. She updated the popular dish and offered her followers a new option.

She posted the cooking details on her Instagram page.

Stuffed peppers are very easy to prepare. Rice is usually added to the filling, but not in this recipe. According to the chef, with such a filling they turn out very juicy, even without sauce.

Ingredients:

  • Sweet pepper – 3 pcs;
  • Chicken fillet – 3 pieces;
  • Onion – 1 piece;
  • Garlic – 2 cloves;
  • Olive oil;
  • Italian herbs – 1 tablespoon;
  • Chili flakes – optional;
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs (or chopped canned – 1 can);
  • Fresh basil – 1 tablespoon .l;
  • Cream cheese – 1 tbsp.
  • Hard cheese – 200 g;
  • Sugar – 1-2 tsp;
  • Flour (if needed) – 1 tbsp;
  • Salt.< /li>

Cooking process:

1. Cut the peppers in half and clean them. Pour oil and bake at a temperature of 200° for 30 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Fry chopped chicken fillet, chopped onion and garlic in a pan. Add spices. Pour in a can of tomatoes and chopped basil. Cook until the meat and onion are ready. If the filling is liquid, add flour.

3. 1 minute before turning off the heat, add cream cheese and grated hard cheese.

4. Fill peppers with filling and sprinkle with cheese.

5. Bake for 10 minutes at a temperature of 200°.
