Authentic Ukrainian recipe: cooking lamantsi with poppy

This dish is ideal as a dessert for the whole family. The recipe is taken from the book “New Vitamin Kitchen” by Osypa Zaklinska, transmitted by Such Dishes.

Glossary:
Sour cream &ndash ; cream;
Grapes – raisins;
Citrine – lemon.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of flour
  • 2 spoons of butter
  • 4 spoons of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 liter (250 g) of cream
  • half a liter of poppy seeds
  • half a liter of milk
  • 4 spoons of honey

Method of preparation:

1. Make the dough with sour cream, sour cream, or milk, so that it is as thick as dumplings.

2. Roll out, cut round pancakes, several triangles and heathers.

3. Season with poppy seeds. Steam half a liter of poppy seeds 2 times and put on a sieve. Pour half a liter of sweet milk into the poppy and put it on the edge of the kitchen to swell, after two hours the poppy will swell, put it on a sieve to drain, pass it through a machine 4 times, or rub it in a blender.

4. Add 4 spoons of honey, 100 g of sugar with vanilla, 1/4 liter (250 g) of good sour cream, grapes to the grated poppy seeds.

5. Sprinkle the baked palanichs on it, place them in a pyramid on a bowl or a half bowl, close the triangles on the sides for decoration.

6. Add the smell of vanilla and lemon peel to the poppy seeds.
