At the affected aircraft factory in Borysoglebsk, Voronezh Region, Russia, missiles for aircraft were being repaired and restored.

On the night of April 9, a long-range kamikaze drone struck the aviation plant in Borysoglebsk, which is located 300 kilometers from Ukraine. As Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense noted, according to preliminary information, the main production facilities of the enterprise were affected during the attack.

As the publication writes, the affected enterprise in Borysoglebsk is the “711th Aviation Repair Plant”, which did not repair airplanes and helicopters. At the same time, its profile was:

• air-to-air missiles: R-27, R-73, R-33;
• air-to-surface missiles: Kh-25, Kh-58;
• Kh-55 and high-speed Kh-22 cruise missile guidance equipment;
• ground radio stations of the R-844M, R-845M type and other radio technical support systems flights.

A night attack on the Voronezh region

On the night of April 9, Russian Telegram channels announced explosions in the Voronezh region. Unknown drones attacked the aviation training center for flight crew training  Chkalov in Borysoglebsk.

Despite the official statements of the Russians about the downing of the drones, the network wrote about hitting the center. The first drone allegedly crashed into the facade of the building at the level of the fourth floor. Later, the second drone hit the same place.
