Sergei Rodionov, a master student of Sevastopol State University, was lucky to make a unique discovery. This is the first such case in the life of a scientist when such an interesting find was found. The sunken sailboat was made of wood. The fragments of the ship were located just 200 meters from the coast. Experts have already identified the hull and mast. The sailboat was lined with brass material, so it is possible that it was related to the military structure. As soon as weather conditions permit, scientists will take photo and video recording of the ship, as well as create a digital model of the wreck of the sea vessel.

As part of an underwater expedition, scientists are working in a place where, according to one version, the ancient Greek city of Corocondam was located. After completing all the necessary procedures, the information about the sailboat will be transferred to the state authorities for the protection of the cultural heritage of the region.
