Asked racists to take over Ukraine – another supporter of the occupiers was discovered in Sumy region

On his page on the social network, the attacker published videos about supporting the actions of the Russian Federation regarding armed aggression on the territory of Ukraine. The police informed him of suspicion.

According to the investigation, a 51-year-old man who has been repeatedly convicted, including for committing domestic violence against his mother, registered a channel on the popular video hosting YouTube, where he posted his videos. With 106 followers, the suspect systematically updated his content, in particular, he called on the Russians to seize Ukraine.

According to the experts' conclusions, the suspect's appeals contain statements in the form of a denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014.

In his free time, from filling the information resource with pro-Russian appeals, the man also specialized in thefts. By a court verdict in August 2024, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison for stealing someone else's property. The decision entered into legal force, and the man is behind bars. In the future, he will also be tried for justifying Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

Currently, investigators of the Okhtyrsky District Police Department under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office have informed the perpetrator of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine «Justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants». The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
