Queen Camilla's son said that it is quite difficult to keep up with his mother's pace. Queen Camilla's son has revealed that his mother is not on the family WhatsApp group for a funny reason.

Tom Parker-Bowles has revealed that staying in touch with his mum can be quite difficult as she often busy with royal duties. He says that often calls the queen, but does not receive an answer, writes Express.

Culinary critic Tom said that he often turns on the TV and sees his mother flying somewhere with her husband by King Charles. And despite being in their 70s, Tom says the King and Queen are “busier than ever”.

Speaking to Woman and Home magazine, he mentioned that his mother can do up to 30 tasks a day. He added: “She's working a lot more. She's always worked really hard, [so] I call my mum, she doesn't answer, I'm looking at the TV [and thinking], 'Ah! She's in Jersey”.

Woman and Home asked Tom if he keeps in touch with his sister and mother via the family WhatsApp, to which he replied that her phone is too “old fashioned” for messaging apps.

We communicate – my children, sister and cousins, but my mother still uses an old-fashioned Nokia phone, so she can't. I think it's for safety, he said. Tom, who has appeared as a judge on MasterChef, said his mother's accession to the throne has not affected their family dynamic, adding that family life has always been a priority for Camilla, 77. Tom Parker Bowles recently opened up about how his children have adapted to their grandmother Camilla's relationship with King Charles. He shared something touching during an appearance on Alan Titchmarsh's Love Your Weekend: “The children, of course, don't know anything else. So 'Grandpa', as they call the King, they've grown up with this man who they all love and think is wonderful.” Tom, in an attempt to combine his royal connections with his profession, has written a cookbook called Cooking and the Crown.
