Michel Lecavalier, a 48-year-old white man, was arrested by Sûreté du Québec (SQ) police officers in recent hours elsewhere in the province.

This is what the Sexual Assault Section of the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) indicated in a press release Sunday morning.

The SPVM launched an appeal to the population on January 3 for help in locating this forty-year-old, who speaks French.
