Apple will release more iPhone smartphones this year, focusing on the Pro and Pro Max

The new iPhone 16 series is expected to debut on September 10 this year, if the report is to be believed accurate But what will be the proportions between the “Professional” models? and “Unprofessional”? Apple has concrete production plans, according to data obtained from Elec through its supply chain.

The company initially plans to produce about 90.1 million iPhones, up from last year's target of 86.2 million. In particular, Apple intends to release more Pro Max models, which will make up 37% of the total, or 33.2 million units. This is a significant increase from last year's 24.2 million iPhone 15 Pro Max. iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to be 26.6 million (30%), compared to 21.8 million units of the 15 Pro last year.

Models without the Pro console will make up 33% of total production. In particular, the standard iPhone 16 will receive a modest increase — 24.5 million units (27%) compared to the iPhone 15's 21.8 million units. In contrast, the iPhone 16 Plus will only make 5.8 million units (6%), which is down from the planned 8.5 million iPhone 15 Plus last year.

Of course, plans may change depending on demand, but the downward trend in demand for the Plus model may support rumors of a possible replacement for this model in the future.

Increase production of the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models may indicate an increase in Apple's revenues, since these models are the most expensive in the company's range and can bring more profit.
