Apple will release a smart camera for a smart home and AirPods with health monitoring

Apple is working on a smart camera for a smart home, as well as wireless AirPods headphones with functions for tracking the state of the user's health. Both devices are likely far from the final stage of development and will appear on the market in just a few years. This opinion was expressed by the authoritative analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to the expert, mass production of Apple smart cameras will begin in 2026. He noted that the company probably expects to sell tens of millions of cameras in the long term. The camera is expected to have deep integration with Apple's proprietary AI-powered features and Siri voice assistant. More details about the specifications or design of Apple's camera are currently unknown. Previously, there were reports about the company's intentions to release a smart display for a smart home. This device is expected to hit the market in 2025.  

As for the new AirPods, Kuo said that future models will have «more health monitoring features» . He also added that Chinese manufacturer Goertek will be the main supplier of the 2026 version of the AirPods. According to the analyst, Apple's smart cameras will also be assembled at Goertek's production facilities.
