Apple Watch saved a man's life thanks to the function of notifications about low heart rate

Apple Watch saved the life of a California resident by notifying him of a critical decrease in heart rate, writes PhoneArena. Let's talk about the details.

What happened

Apple Watch warned a Californian about problems with his pulse, which allowed him to get medical help in time. Peter Moore of Montecito felt dizzy on his way to the airport and decided to stop at Starbucks.

Not long after, he received a low heart rate alert on his Apple Watch, which had dropped to 32 beats per minute. Doctors diagnosed that he needed a pacemaker.

Cardiologist Omid Yusef’yan from the Sansum Clinic Cardiology clinic noted that thanks to the Apple Watch, Moore managed to get medical help on time.
