Apple introduced its first headphones with a heart rate monitor

Apple Introduces Powerbeats Pro 2 – new sports headphones with a unique heart rate measurement function, making them the company's first headphones with such a feature.

What is known about the new product

The new product has become 20% lighter compared to the original Powerbeats Pro (2020), has received an updated mounting design and protection against moisture according to the IPX4 standard.

The headphones are available in four colors: black, beige, purple-blue and orange.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 is based on the Powerbeats Pro 2 – H2 chip used in AirPods Pro 2. It provides active noise cancellation, transparency mode and adaptive equalizer for improved sound.

The main feature is a built-in optical heart rate sensor, which works on the principle of Apple Watch. Data can be viewed on both iPhone and Android, and also synchronized with third-party fitness applications.

The headphones provide up to 10 hours of battery life, and together with the charging case – up to 45 hours. The case itself has become 33% more compact, supports charging via USB-C and wireless power.

Powerbeats Pro 2 are already available for order at a price of €299.95.
