US-based Apple has hired new designer Peter Ryring-Chekalla, formerly chief designer at air purifier company Molekule. This is reported by the agency Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.
"Rearing-Chekalla worked as a chief designer at Molekule, imitating Jony Quince, who who had the same position at Apple", — he noted. According to the article, he may be the successor to Ive, the designer of the iPhone and other Apple gadgets.
For example, Cekalla was the lead designer at IDEO, which Apple also regularly reviews in an effort to poach new talent workers.
“Considering that his last job was to create the most attractive aluminum air purifiers for $1000, it may be perfect for Apple”, — concluded Gurman.
