APP withdraws Roberto Chiabra from the Permanent Commission and includes Lady Camones

The caucus of the Alliance for Progress< b> (APP) withdrew Roberto Chiabraof the Permanent Commission and included in her place Lady Camones, who was censured as president of that state power on September 5.

The decision was announced this Thursday, when the session of the Parliament Plenary resumed in the afternoon, after the censorship of the Minister of Transport and Communications, Giner Alvarado.

It should be noted that on September 5, Roberto Chiabra presented his letter of resignation from the APP caucus, the political group for which he was elected in the general elections last year.

In a document sent to the bench's spokesperson, Alejandro Soto, Chiabra León explained that her departure is due to “for reasons of conscience”. He is also grateful for the opportunity they gave him to be a candidate as an independent, since he is not a member of APP .

Roberto Chiabra had voted differently from the rest of the APP at different times, among which the vacancy motions against President Pedro Castillo stand out, initiatives that he supported.

His departure also occurred after that audios be broadcast between Lady Camones and the leader of APP, César Acuña, in which the approval of a bill is coordinated. This cost the position of the then head of Congress.

Furthermore, a few weeks ago the resignation of Gladys Echaíz to this group and her incorporation to the Renovación Popular caucus. Following this decision, Roberto Chiabra becomes an ungrouped legislator.
