Anyone willing is offered $16,000 to move to a paradise in Spain

As part of the state program, 200 migrants will be able to get a visa and work remotely.

The program called “Live in Ambros” provides financial support to cover the cost of housing, land and other expenses, but only on the condition that the new residents live there for at least two years.

That is why the Spanish government is trying to change this critical demographic situation.

It is reported that 200 migrants will be able to work remotely as part of the state program.

“Attracting highly qualified professionals with high incomes will have a very positive impact on our economy. It will promote consumption growth, enrich our land with talent, and expand opportunities,” — said the Spanish Minister of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation, Guillermo Santamaria.

Successful female applicants under the age of 30 will receive $11,000 if they choose to stay in a city with a population of less than 5,000. Another $5,000 will be paid to them for completing the two-year course. Those over 30 will receive slightly less assistance: an initial payment of $8,900 and a secondary — $4,400.

Who can apply?

  • The applicant must not have lived in this region of Spain for the past six months;
  • Be legally in the country and have foreign identification number. Non-EU nationals can also apply, but they must already have a visa;
  • Work remotely in the technology industry.
