On Saturday, June 1, in Paris, near the Eiffel Tower, unknown persons placed five coffins, covering them with French flags.1

The provocateurs signed their performance: French soldiers who returned from Ukraine. Le Monde reports this.

Three suspects in the symbolic funeral were detained by local police.

Law enforcement officers checked the coffins, as it became known, they contained plaster figures.

During the interrogation of the detainees, it turned out that they were natives of Bulgaria, Germany and Ukraine.

The driver of the truck, who was transporting coffins for a prohibited installation, was detained at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

He told investigators that he was paid 40 euros to deliver people and cargo to the site.

Two other people, according to police, were arrested at the bus station in Beers as they prepared to take a bus to Berlin.

Currently, all detainees are being held on charges of intentional violence; the investigation does not exclude the possibility of foreign intervention.
