Another "admirer of Kremlin actions" sentenced in Khmelnytskyi region, prosecutor's office says

On public indictment by the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 48-year-old resident of the Khmelnytskyi district was found guilty of distributing materials that justify, recognize as lawful, deny the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, and glorify its participants.

The court sentenced him to the agreed-upon sentence of 5 years in prison, with a probationary period of 2 years.

On his social media page, the accused supported Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the actions of the Russian military.

He distributed materials that glorified the leaders of irregular formations of the so-called DPR, such as «Motorola».

The guilt of the accused was confirmed by an expert examination.

He fully admitted his guilt and sincerely repented of what he had done.

The court's decision can be appealed.
