After season 2 of Andor, Rogue One will be a different movie

In addition to this information, Diego Luna who plays Cassian Andor gave an interview to Entertainment Weekly during which he revealed the objective of this future season which risks driving fans of Rogue One crazy. Indeed, the prequel spin-off of Star Wars had already won over audiences, but with season 2 of Andor, viewers should see a different movie:

I think people who watch Rogue One, after seeing season 2, will see a different movie. Everything will be denoted differently knowing what had to happen for K-2 to be there. I think you will see the journey of Rogue One in a different way. And not just with K-2, but with many other characters. I think it'll be really cool.

Suffice to say that this statement will make the hype around Andor season 2 even more intense. Now all we have to do is wait and see for the official release date.
