ex-President of Russia and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel commented on the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

"Kiev scumbags and their Western patrons seem ready to arrange a new Chernobyl. Rockets and shells are falling closer and closer to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant reactor and radioactive isotope storage.

They say that this is Russia.  This is an obvious, 100% lie, even for the stupid Russophobic public.

Even the UN doesn't believe it. They say it comes out purely by chance. Like they didn't want to.

What can I say… We should not forget that there are nuclear power plants in the European Union. And accidents are also possible there, – Medvedev wrote.

After the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Dmitry Medvedev has consistently delivered belligerent rhetoric against Ukraine and the West. Journalists attribute this to his desire to please the Russians and get rid of offensive language in Russia's image of a “liberal”.

BAGNET recalls that on August 11,  infidels fired four times at the ZNPP  – the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. C March 2022, the plant is under the control of Russian invaders.

Earlier, the G7 countries issued a statement demanding that Russia return the Zaporozhye NPP to Ukrainian control.
