Ukraine “lit up” an unusual electric car – what it can do

Zhidou D2 is a two-seater electric car with a range of 155 km. The maximum speed is 105 km/h. It is equipped with a 41 hp electric motor. (according to other sources – 24 hp) and a lithium-ion battery of 18 kW/h. The battery is fully charged in 4 hours. If you use fast charging at a special station, then the battery can be fully charged in just 30 minutes.

The Zhidou D2 is 2808mm long, 1499mm wide and 1555mm high. It is equipped with climate control, a rear view camera, rear parking sensors and an infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen.

It is very possible that the Zhidou D2 seen on the roads of Kyiv was imported to Ukraine from Europe. The fact is that this model has been on sale there for several years. True, since 2021, for example, in Germany, Zhidou D2 began to be sold under a different name – Elaris Pio. Why did they do it? Very simply, the name Elaris Pio is better perceived by the inhabitants of the Old Continent.

Now Elaris Pio is one of the cheapest electric vehicles in Europe. If you use subsidies, you can buy it for about 5,500 euros.
