An unemployed woman who helped the occupiers via the Telegram messenger was tried in the Kharkiv region

A woman was sentenced in the Kharkiv region for passing on data about the locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Izyum region to the enemy.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the prosecutor's office, an unemployed resident of the village of Savyntsy has been helping the enemy since March 2024. She communicated with representatives of the Russian Federation via the Telegram messenger. The woman sent messages to the “curators” about the location and movement of personnel and military equipment. She even clearly indicated the quantity, and regarding the equipment – she transmitted precise markings and markings. In the notebook, the traitor drew maps of the area with the designation of the data that was discussed in the correspondence.

Law enforcement officers exposed the woman in June 2024. At the court hearing, she did not admit her guilt. She explained that she was transmitting supposedly fabricated information to the enemy. However, her arguments were refuted by evidence.

The court found the woman guilty of unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, movement and location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, provided that they could be identified on the ground, committed under martial law (Part 2, Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She was sentenced to six years in prison.
