The oil tanker suffered of a missile attack near Yemen - mass media

A crude oil tanker sailing under the flag of Panama was hit by a missile off the coast of Yemen.

This is reported by Reuters with reference to the British company Ambrey , which specializes in maritime security issues, reports Ukrinform.

According to Ambrey, the ship was hit by a missile and a fire started on board. The tanker was assisted. It is noted that "one of the vessel's steering units remained operational.

The United Kingdom Military Maritime Merchant Operations Center (UKMTO) later reported that the vessel "minor damage", all crew members are safe.

The incident occurred approximately 150 kilometers from the city of Hodeidah.
