An insider published the specifications of the future folding Samsung a week before the presentation

A week before the Unpacked presentation, the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 became known. This was reported by an insider EvLeaks, reports The Verge.< /p>

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will be identical to their predecessors in many respects. Although the Flip now allows you to use Samsung's translator mode on the front panel screen. 

Both models will be IP48 waterproof. This standard also protects against solid objects 1 mm or larger, but not against dust.

Among the main specifications updates, we can highlight: higher maximum screen brightness – 2600 nits, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is noted that the new models have a higher screen brightness compared to the previous models – 2,600 nits compared to the Z Fold 5's 1,750.

It is important to note that these specifications should be confirmed at Samsung Unpacked on July 10.

Specific specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6:< /p>

  • New Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor
  • One hour longer battery life when using LTE, two hours longer video playback
  • 14 grams lighter
  • 1.4mm shorter, 1mm wider, 1.3mm thinner when folded
  • 1.4mm shorter, 2.7mm wider, 0.5mm thinner when unfolded condition
  • Improved aluminum frame
  • Slightly different resolution of the main display 2160×1856 vs. 2176×1812
  • No changes in cameras, battery capacity (4400 mAh) or protective glass (Gorilla Glass Victus 2)

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have:

  • 50-MP main camera, compared to 12-MP, with the same aperture f /1.8
  • New Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 12GB of RAM
  • Secondary display is now IPS instead of OLED
  • 0.2mm thinner when folded condition, other dimensions and weight unchanged
  • 4,000 mAh larger battery (compared to 3,700 mAh)
  • Two hours longer with LTE, three hours longer video playback< /li>
  • The glass has not changed (Gorilla Glass Victus 2)
  • The whole phone now displays the color you choose, not just one panel on the back.
