An F-18 plane crashed near the city of Teruel in northeastern Spain. The pilot died as a result of the accident.

The fighter jet crashed on Friday, October 4 in eastern Spain. It is known that the pilot's name was Pablo Estrada Martin, he had more than 1,500 flight hours, but he did not have time to eject from the F/A-18 and died in the fall.

The cause of the accident is currently unknown.

< p>The Spanish Air Force expressed its condolences to his family. It is known that the pilot recently led a mission in Lithuania that participated in patrolling the airspace of the Baltic countries.
