In the 2023-2024 academic year, 19.9 thousand students from Ukraine submitted their documents to higher education institutions in Poland.
By the end of last academic year, 45 thousand citizens of Ukraine were studying at universities in Poland. This is almost 45% of the total number of foreign students in the country, the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland reported in response to a request from "Ukrinform".
According to incomplete data, only 102.7 thousand foreign students studied at Polish universities in the 2023-2024 academic year. The total number of Ukrainian students was 45.5 thousand, which is almost 45% of the total number of foreign students in the country.

Citizens of Ukraine who are covered by the law can apply for a rector's scholarship, a scholarship for people with disabilities and assistance on the general rules for foreign students.
