    Hanser Alberto was not retained by the Los Angeles Dodgers.


Dominican infielder Hanser Alberto became an infielder. He officially became a free agent this Wednesday after the Los Angeles Dodgers declined their option as a team to keep him for the 2023 season.

Nine other players also signed their names on the list of those available to sign with any team for the upcoming Major League Baseball season.

These were Kole Calhoun (Texas Rangers), Danny Duffy (Dodgers), Ian Kennedy (Arizona Diamondbacks) and Trey Mancini (Houston Astros).

In addition, Mike Minor (Cincinnati Reds), Jimmy Nelson (Dodgers), A.J. Pollock (Chicago White Sox), Will Smith (Houston Astros) and Drew Smyly (Chicago Cubs).
