A well-known Ukrainian director and producer Alan Badoev gave an interview to TV presenter Masha Efrosinina, during which an air raid alert began in Kyiv, where the clip maker is now located. Hearing the siren, the star continued to sit in the apartment. He admitted that he had recently stopped going down to the bomb shelter.
The corresponding video appeared on the YouTube channel of Efrosinina. As the director said, earlier he responsibly observed all safety standards and went down to the basement after each siren, but now he has somewhat rethought his attitude towards air raid alarms and began to believe in fate more.
Badoev remembered the story of his friend, who spent the first months of the war in a relatively safe place, and when active fighting subsided in Kyiv and the region, he decided to return. On that day, the occupiers launched a missile attack on the capital – in the house where there was a friend of the clip maker.
«I've had my fill already. Many times. As many have probably already descended. And I decided something for myself. If I was really worried about it, I would probably… I can't bring myself to go down now. Trying to fill every day of my life now with life, not with this. I'm trying to figure out how my friends and I should build our lives during the war. On the one hand, I'm a guy and, probably, women have more developed this moment of self-preservation. On the other hand, it was as if such an idea appeared in my head that everyone has their own destiny… I have a friend who was not in Kyiv during the whole war, then he saw that it had become a little better in Kyiv, returned and fell under the bombing of Artyom. He ran away from one bomb, and the second covered him. It's hard to run away from it. I have always been a bit of a fatalist: I have always believed that we are just energy on this earth and our energy itself knows when to leave the earth», – shared the director.

At the same time, the clipmaker notes that Ukrainians should not follow his example.
«I'm afraid to call people to vigilance with my speech. Be very vigilant. Maybe in Kyiv it is a little less dangerous than in other cities of Ukraine, where incredible bombings take place after each such siren… I don't know how people experience it. It's terrible», commented Badoev.
