Air defense managed to shoot down 16 cruise missiles, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On the night of August 15, during a massive attack on Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 16 cruise missiles, including “Kalibri”. This is reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As a result of anti-aircraft combat by the forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with units of other components of the Defense Forces, the following were destroyed: 16 Kh-101/X-555 cruise missiles, " Caliber".
According to the Air Force, in total, at least 28 cruise missiles of various types were launched:
- 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles – from six Tu-22M3 long-range aircraft (airports based in Soltsy, Shaykovka);
- 20 cruise missiles X-101/X-555 from 11 aircraft of strategic aviation (airports based in Engels, Olenegorsk);
- 4 “Caliber” cruise missiles from a frigate from the waters of the Black Sea (Yalta region).
Also, 8 launches of enemy S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles were recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
BAGNET reminds that on the morning of August 15, the enemy hit Lviv. Rocket debris fell on multi-apartment residential buildings on Patona and Kakhovska streets. In one of the city's hypermarkets, the ceiling collapsed due to falling rocket fragments. Information was received about damage to vehicles.
In addition, the Russian occupiers hit an industrial enterprise in Lutsk. Unfortunately, there are victims as a result of the strike.
The Russian Federation also struck an enterprise in Dnipro. According to preliminary information, there are two wounded.
It is known that in the morning the enemy launched rocket attacks on Cherkasy region. In particular, in Smila, a rocket hit the territory of a private enterprise. Another healed on the territory of the medical facility.
